28 jars of Apple goodness!!

5 kids and we decided to can apples?! Are we crazy? Actually, the 3 babies and the girls did great! It was crazy and it took us longer than normal but we got it done! 28 jars of apples goodness! Kevin came over after he got off of work to join the party. We all had chicken pot pie and good conversation. After dinner Kevin and Aaron read the girls bed time stories and tucked them into bed. We love the McBrides and it is so fun that the twins and Mylee are so close in age. We are excited for them to grow up as good friends. Here are a few pictures of the Chaos and the mess. Believe it or not the kitchen was spic and span by the time we were done!! Thanks Kara for teaching me how to can apples.

Cold days!

Because the weather is getting colder we pulled out the bike trailer/stroller to cart the kids over to pick up Hannah from school. I always have to mention that this is the bike trailer that I got for $25 at a garage sale, ever time I pull it out I have this overwhelming feeling of s satisfaction and guilt... satisfied that I got a great deal, guilt because I totally ripped the guy off! Well we are getting a LOT of use out of it. It is a warm ride for the kids because it has a plastic flap that closes over the top... I want a ride!!

Tag I'm It.

I am: The luckiest girl on the Planet!
I think: unfortunately not before I speak.
I know: That Christ died for my sins.
I want: my children to love serving the Lord and others.
I dislike: having a messy house, but have learned that someday when it stays clean my kids will no longer be living at home and that makes me sad, so I will deal with the mess.
I miss: friends and family that live far away.
I fear: Losing Aaron and my 4 precious children
I feel: SO BLESSED
I hear: Ice Age in the background.
I smell: Sugar cookies... no I am not baking, it is my Scentsy pot.
I crave: homemade cookies all the time!!
I cry: at sappy movies(but I love them).
I search: the laundry room for missing socks.
I wonder: if my body will ever be the same again?
I regret: not writing more down when the girls were babies.
I love: the Lord, Aaron, my children, family, friends, the list goes on and on!
I care: I don't have enough time to even begin to list all the people and things that I care about... If you are reading this, I care about you.
I always: walk Aaron to his car in the morning when he leaves for work. I always hate to see him go.
I worry: about Aaron when he travels
I am not: good at keeping a current calendar.
I remember: very little... sorry.
I believe: That our kids learn by example.
I dance: silly to make my kids laugh all the time! They love it!
I sing: not very well, but I love it and my kids think I am great.
I argue: very little
I have a hard time saying, "you're right"
I write: not enough Thank you notes.
I win: when we get to spend time as a family.
I lose: when I lose my patients with my kids.
I wish: I could hit rewind and relive these days again someday... I know I will miss them.
I listen: to country music, love it!
I don't understand: many things that happen in this world.
I can usually be found: trying to keep up on the laundry and house work.
I am scared: when I can't get a hold of Aaron
I need: to go to they gym.
I forget: too much.
I am happy: right where I am, nothing needs to change.
Now, it is my turn to tag. I tag Jill Bowman, Jessica Sumner, Cassie, and Mari. I'll be watching your blogs ladies!!!!!

Just because I know I will forget~

Do you ever hear your kids say a word and think, "I should write that down because I know I will forget?" I do this all the time and unfortunately have not written any of them down. Every once in a while they come back to me and as they do I will begin recording them on my blog (since it is now my journal).

The other day we were in the car and I was listening to the girls talking about their "braceslips" (bracelets) this is one of the few words that they both say incorrectly and I don't have the heart to correct.

I will add to this post as I think of more.
Pak-Kak for back pack. They have only recently given up this little saying. It makes me smile just thinking about their little voices saying these cute little things.

Pump it Up

All the schools around here have Thursday and Friday off this week, so we decided that we had better get out of the house and do something fun. We went to Pump it Up with Carrie, Jill, and Stephanie along with their kids and a few extra friends. The kids had a great time!
Hannah, Hailey, Ava, Savannah, Lizzy, and Amber

Elle had fun too!

Sister's new cage~

As promised, here are the pictures of sissy's new cage. Before I set it up this morning I pulled a leaf from her mouth and a a rather large string from unknown parts (she must have swallowed it yesterday) now this little lady has a place to play free of small objects!!
