Family Camp

Here is Hannah tearing up the water. Look at her lean into that turn...

Ava and Lizzy enjoying a ride on the tube.
Here is Aaron showing off his backflip skills. All the dad's took a turn showing off for the kids.

Here is a boat full of kids watching and learning how to do back flips off the boat from their fearless dads.

Enjoying the campfire

The night before we left I printed up a bunch of song books with campfire songs. We decided the kids were a little young and the adults were a little old to enjoy the songs. But my friend Stephanie Wilkey was a trooper, she helped me get the adults singing. We might wait a few years before we break out the song books again.

Here is a great shot of Jared Giles looking less than thrilled to be forced to sing campfire songs!

The weekend of July 11 we along with about 12 other families went to Phillips lake (about 1/2 hour south of Baker City, OR) to spend the weekend. We had a great time. I think the total # of kids was somewhere in the high 30's or low 40's while the number of adults was about 26! It is amazing to think that over the years the number of kids will continue to grow! 4 families brought boats up so everyone did their fair share of tubing, skiing, surfing, wakebording, etc. We are already planning next years camping trip and it will be bigger and better! We want YOU!! We would like to invite a larger group of people next year and make it a yearly tradition. This year was a fluke it was two different groups planning to go camping and later it morphed into one. It was the perfect start to an annual family camp. If you are interested in joining family camp next year, let us know so we can include you on emails!!

Hannah did awesome waterskiing... Aaron said that she was so confident and that she was going from one side of the wake to the other, not quite going over yet, but coming very close!
